Scholarship

 

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic ability, financial need, and involvement in equine activities.  Scholarship winners are eligible to use the award for undergraduate or graduate educational expenses at a institution of higher learning.  An institution of higher learning is defined as one that may only be attended upon receipt of a high school diploma or its equivalent.  This definition shall include colleges, universities, junior or community colleges offering an Associate degree, and trade schools providing education in a field leading to permanent employment.

ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Be a current senior in high school progressing satisfactorily toward graduation or a current full time student (12 hours per quarter/semester) college student.
  2. Have a 2.5 accumulative GPA.
  3. Be an active NPRA member, dependent of an active NPRA member, or a current member of the Oregon , Washington or California High School Rodeo Association.
